My Favourite Show

When I moved to Canada in 1994, I was keen to see how and where I could share my work, meet other creatives and be part of an arts community.
That summer I discovered the Toronto Outdoor Art Show, I was so excited by everything I saw.

In 1995 I applied and was juried into the annual three day July show. Held in Nathan Phillips Square, it’s central and accessible to all.
I met art lovers and collectors, tourists, and the curious passer by. I had such an amazing experience having a booth at the show.

After ten years, I chose to take a break. It was hard balancing family with my creative work.

Finally 2014 I was ready to exhibit again with a new body of work and it was really wonderful to reconnect and be part of the show again.
Each year I look forward to the support, feedback and excitement of being part of what is now called the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair.

This year the show will be online only. Everyone behind this nonprofit arts organization has stepped up to help keep the arts alive despite the difficult times.
Even though we can’t be in the square to share in person, I’m so grateful to be part of this years offerings.
