SILK BIRD ORNAMENT MEDLEY 

Birds capture my imagination with their colourful plumage, habitats and rituals. These decorative and fanciful bird ornaments celebrate my love of birds.

Bright and metallic threads are embroidered onto appliquéd silks using my basic domestic sewing machine as a drawing tool, enabling me to stitch freely over the surface creating rich embellishments.

Each bird is unique, carefully and individually made as a little piece of textile art to decorate and celebrate any season and occasion.

Each bird has a unique hand embroidered design. They are filled and made from repurposed, up-cycled and felted wools. The birds measure approx 4.1/4” beak to tail and have a suede hanging loop. These are a seasonal offering.
