Volunteering
I enjoy volunteering at the Repair Cafe helping to divert and extend the life of textiles.
Anyone can bring in items that need fixing and get help and learn FOR FREE :)

Repurposing materials
I'm using as many repurposed and recycled materials as possible in my work. Above are some of my embroidered ornaments and pin cushions made from sweaters embellished with hand embroidery.
Offset our footprint
To offset the use of some petroleum-based materials, thread spools, cellophane sleeves etc. I am donating $1 for every item sold to the Plastic Bank a wonderful social economic environmental initiative.
