I'm using as many repurposed and recycled materials as possible in my work. Pictured below are some of my embroidered pin cushions made from sweaters.  I volunteer at the Repair Cafe to help save other textiles from becoming landfill. I'm trying to offset the impact of the new materials I use by donating to Plastic Bank .

Volunteer

I am really enjoying volunteering at the Repair Cafe and helping divert textiles from being discarded.

Anybody can bring in items that need fixing and get help and instruction FOR FREE :)

I will post dates here when the RC resumes.

Donating Masks

In response to the COVID 19 pandemic, I've been making reusable non medical fabric masks. They are all donated to local communities.

For sewing help/recomendations, or if you know a community in need of masks,  please get in touch.

I am also now selling these masks in my shop, all of the proceeds collected go to a  local charity.

Offset our Footprint

To offset the use of some petroleum based materials, thread spools, cellophane sleeves…I am donating $1 for every item I sell to the Plastic Bank, a wonderful Canadian social economic environmental initiative
