A playful composition of busy creative birds, their notions and scissors on hand as they get ready to sew their next project together. I included some of the process pictures as I was working on this piece.  The embroidery was initially finished with a turquoise sky, which I later chose to make golden. 

 Bright and metallic threads are embroidered onto appliquéd silks using my basic domestic sewing machine as a drawing tool,  I stitch freely over the surface creating rich texture, pattern and image.

The artwork measures  5.25” x  6 ” and is mounted within a 10”x12” acid free mat, ready for the frame of your choice. Available framed upon request.
