This work is a stitched drawing made from sketches I did while in the Provence village of Rousillon, France. I loved wandering around this hillside village where all the buildings are coloured by the local vibrant landscape,. I tried to capture something of what inspired me while there. 

White organza and collaged silks are embroidered freely with colourful threads using a basic domestic sewing machine as my drawing tool.

The 4.5”x 6” embroidery is mounted within an acid free mat surround ready for a 10“x 12” frame of your choice.
