This work is a stitched drawing made from sketches I did while in the Luberon village of St Martin de Castillon, France. I loved wandering around this little village, full of charming paths and passageways connecting all the houses. This artist's studio was such a lovely spot I was inspired to capture in stitch. 

The oatmeal cotton linen fabric is embroidered freely with cotton and rayon threads using a basic domestic sewing machine as my drawing tool.  

The 5-3/4”x 6-1/2” work is mounted within an acid free mat surround ready for a 10“x 12” frame of your choice.
