In my studio, my shelves are full of the nostalgic things collected over a lifetime. This embroidery celebrates some of these pieces together in a still life detail composition that has grown into its own fanciful narrative. 

Collaged silks are embroidered using my basic domestic sewing machine as a drawing tool.

The embroidery measures 6.25”x 9.75” and is mounted within an acid free mat and contemporary 12”x16” white wood frame. Ready to hang.

The frame is from the Victor Gallery, a local family business. I use professional acid free materials, cut the mats and mount the work in the frame in my studio.
