This work is a stitched drawing made from sketches I did while in the Provence village of Le Barroux, France. I loved seeing all the clay rooftops, chimneys, streets and greenery across the landscape. I tried to capture something of the magnificent view that inspired me from the top of the hill. 

White organza and collaged silks are embroidered freely with colourful threads using a basic domestic sewing machine as my drawing tool. 

The 9”x 7” embroidery is mounted within an acid free mat and framed within a contemporary white wood 12”x 14” frame, ready to hang.

Embroideries are professionally framed by the artist using museum quality acid free supplies sourced from Canadian companies. 

The white wood contemporary frames are locally made by a family owned business. 

Each work is packaged to travel safely to your home or office within a reusable custom made tote, using reusable, repurposed and recycled materials. 

Each artwork comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
