Informed by my drawing explorations into softer tones and a sumptuous silk sample, this windowsill still life grouping includes a mix of pieces that connect me to the people and places I cherish. Each piece contains threads of my story. As I work, new narratives are imagined and intertwined offering comfort and joyful reflection. 

Lustrous and metallic threads are embroidered onto an appliquéd silk ground using my basic domestic sewing machine as a drawing tool. I stitch freely over the surface creating rich texture, pattern and details.

The artwork measures 13.5” x 11 ” and is framed within a 17”x 20” contemporary white wood frame, ready to hang. 

The embroideries are professionally framed by the artist using museum quality acid free supplies sourced from Canadian companies. 

The white wood contemporary frames are locally made by a family owned business. 

Each work is packaged to travel safely to your home or office within a reusable custom made tote, using reusable, repurposed and recycled materials. 

Each artwork comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
