This fanciful composition brings together some of my favourite inspirations. My love of observing and drawing birds, vintage sewing notions. In this colourful embroidery Vee is busy preparing her threads for sewing. 

Bright and metallic threads are embroidered onto appliquéd silks using my basic domestic sewing machine as a drawing tool, as I stitch freely over the surface creating rich textures, patterns and image.

This original artwork measures 2.25” x 2.25 and is mounted within a 6"x 6" acid free mat and contemporary white frame, ready to hang. 1
